Phrenology

My job was to describe in detail what the group members did and how they described and looked up the description of the bust. My group looked up information and definitions of the artifact and the purpose of the item. Understanding the importance of phrenology and connection of it to the artifact and Franz the German Scientist who helped to mention the brain and started the conversation about brains in general. Lorenzo Fowler who created the artifact of the bust which included ideas of the brain and maps. Provenance is the place of origin or the earliest known history of something, and the record of ownership of a work of art or antique used as a guide to authenticity or quality. I learned from the group members about when researching put the whole description or title of the artifact to find out the real information on the bust. To say the words said on the bust itself and descriptions of color and size and any details to help narrow the focus down. This bust could be used as a primary source if you are changing it to ask a question about the company and how the artifact was being produced by it and the time period of it being used makes it a proper primary source.
