3. The documentary was made as part of ESPN's programming because it shared the film's content around surfing and sports itself, and the history and story of Eddie Aikau. The filmmakers audience's expectations were that the documentary was more action of the film then historical acts because of the documentary being played by ESPN. Also the expectations of it being more of a sports based film brings in viewers of the sports based fans.
4. The film would have been made differently by PBS or the History channel because these programmers would have focused on more of the historical evidence. Focused more upon the Hawaiian culture and identity of Eddie and his historical influence on Hawaii.
6. The annexation of Puerto Rico was between the United States and Puerto Rico. It had affected the Puerto Rican economy and people, which reduced the cost of cash crops and led to less wages for laborers of the territory. Puerto Ricans had thought after the Jones Act of 1917 they would behaving the same rights as the Americans, but really the Americans had taken advantage of the territory's resources leaving them with a different economy.

Angle: Americans had a hungry appetite for cheap cash crops of other countries and laborers. Americans had taken advantage of the Puerto Rican laborers, which led to a growing reduction of food on the island.
